Electromagnetic (EMF) radiation and blue light both have been shown to delay the release of Melatonin in the brain.

Melatonin is one of the primary hormones responsible for regulating our sleep-wake cycles. Studies have shown EMF radiation and blue light is associated with delayed release of Melatonin, lowered production of Melatonin, less Rapid Eye Movement (REM) restorative sleep, less sleep overall, and poorer quality of sleep. A disruption in sleep makes the body unable to repair its cells and muscles. Short-term memory fails to transfer into long-term memory, and other processes in the body fail to reset.
